Dear Reader,

What a year it has been. So much insanity and suffering in the world, and so much grace and good fortune for many of us.

For us, one of the great gifts of the year has been the opportunity to dialogue with the remarkable guests on Deep Transformation, and to help get their profound ideas out to a world which so desperately needs them. It’s hard to pick out individual guests from this impressive group, but to mention a few of the most impactful:

First, there is the beyond profound spiritual teacher, Hameed Ali (pen name A. H. Almaas), who provides a repetitively mind-blowing overview of his teaching in an ongoing series, the A. H. Almaas Wisdom Series. Then Governor Jerry Brown brilliantly integrated everything from philosophy to tax rates to compassion, while law professor Mark Fischler helps us make “sense” of the looming threats to our democracy.

Hospice pioneer Frank Ostaseski moved us to tears with his stories of being with and learning from the dying. And the most emotionally impactful and most watched of all episodes was the dialogue with Ukrainian frontline psychologist Kristina Obluchynska and trauma trainer Mark Walsh, who shared their experiences of helping Ukrainians deal with the inconceivable horrors of war.

We count it as one of the great privileges of our lives to dialogue with and support these and other remarkable guests.
